Here are definitions of love as told by kids

Love. The endless inspiration for poems, songs, paintings, films. It is one of Life’s biggest questions. Funny, light-hearted and silly to the wise and seriously romantic...all coming out from the mouths of babes.

So, what is love?  Love is special; love is kind and patient. There are a tremendous amount of books and songs on the subject. Here are definitions of love as told by kids:

  1. You really shouldn’t say ‘I love you’ unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget -  Jessica – age 8

  2. My mommy loves me more than anybody.You don’t see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night - Clare – age 6

  3. When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth.’ – Billy – age 4

  4. Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken - Elaine-age 5

  5. For starters take them to a romantic dinner or movie. And, probably also…giving her a ring and probably going to the beach and laying down and seeing the moon and stars  – Lucas, Age 6

  6. When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you - Karen - age 7

  7. I think you're supposed to get shot with an arrow or something, but the rest of it isn't supposed to be so painful. 0 Harlen - 8

  8. I'm in favor of love as long as it doesn't happen when 'The Simpsons' is on television - Anita - 6

  9. "It's love if they order one of those desserts that are on fire. They like to order those because it's just like how their hearts are...on fire 0 Christine - 9

  10. My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night - Clare - age 6

The Bible tells us God is Love. Love is one of the primary characteristics of God.
