God loves you. Personally. Powerfully. Passionately.

Monday, February 23, 2015

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38,39).

God loves you. Personally. Powerfully. Passionately. Others have promised and failed. But God has promised and succeeded. Jesus loves us when we struggle, when we are broken, and when we fail – no matter our circumstance He always loves us.

When Jesus died on the cross, there was an earthquake and God’s heart burst open, and streams of His love, grace, mercy and blessings just flowed out.

God wants you to have a deep spiritual awareness of his love and to experience his love in your heart.  Instead of trying to understand it, or deserve it, or pay for it, He just wants us to receive it and say, “Thank you.

It is important for you to trust that precious capacity to see more than what physical eyes see. More than anything else in the universe, glimpsing the immensity of God's personal, passionate love for you will flood your life with peace and security.

A secret to living – to experiencing – a full life on this side of heaven is to know God deeply and to experience God’s love.

I have absolute certain knowledge, perfect knowledge that God loves us. He is good. He is our Father and He expects us to pray and trust and be believing and not give up and not panic and not retreat and not jump ship when something doesn’t seem to be going just right.

God loves you on your good days and He loves you on your bad days. His love is not conditioned by your response. God is love and His love is given freely. It cannot be earned and it is undeserved.

I encourage you to pursue an intimate relationship with God, and begin to learn for yourself how amazing  and indescribable His love truly is.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:8
