Keep the dream Alive, don't give up

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:3 KJV)

Sometimes you have a dream you want to achieve, but something happens and you lose the desire to go after the dream.

You've been hoping and waiting for your dream to come to pass. It's beginning to look like as if all hope is gone. You're beginning to feel as if the promises of God will never be fulfilled, and you're thinking to yourself "What am I still trying for? What is God doing? and "What's going on here?"

There have been times in my life when disappointment has dealt a crushing blow to my faith. It hurt so bad that I wanted to give up, I even resisted Christ's urging to keep hoping.  I did not want Jesus to give me more faith to believe only to have my hope crushed again. But thank God that He looked past all my moaning and groaning. He never gets tired of me.

But to tell the truth, the journey to greatness has never been and will never be an easy one.

If you believe that your dream is dead, Jesus wants to touch that dream with His resurrection power!

The Bible says the joy of the Lord is our strength.  God doesn’t want you to be miserable. He wants us to live in His joy because that's where we have peace.

So, don't believe the lie that being holy means being miserable. Don't ever believe that God doesn’t want to give you the desires of your heart.

You don’t have to give up what you desire the most to follow Him. Your desires come from God. They are what He wants you to have the most. They speak of your mission in the world, the part you play in furthering the kingdom of God.

There is always hope. When you want to give up, when all seems lost, when there seems to be no reason to keep going – THIS MOMENT – is the moment to press on one more day.

God has glorious riches that He is eager to give to you. Trust Him. He will not withhold anything good from you.

The trials you have been facing while working toward your dreams don’t have to determine the outcome.

Don’t give up. Just press on one day at a time – the dawn will break, the dawn WILL break!

Keep on moving forward and trust that God will work things out for your good.

Do not be afraid. Only believe. Speak to your dream in Jesus name. Tell that dream to come forth and to be perfected in the Earth and it will obey you.

You may not see how it can happen, it may look like it’s been too long, but if you’ll stay in faith, God can still bring that to pass. He will finish what He started.

Your dream may be so dried up that all you can do is wish you were dead. Maybe your dream is at the point of death. Possibly your dream has just recently died. Or your dream could be dead, prepared for burial and on the way to the cemetery. Perhaps your dream is dead, buried and nothing more than a stinking memory.

You need to understand this. Jesus said, "I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE." There is no pit so deep that Jesus isn't deeper still. The resurrection of your dream is a simple thing for Him, if only you'll believe. Stay out of fear.

Hold your horses. Don't throw in the towel. It's not over 'til God says it's over. Keep believing. Resurrection power is on the way!

Keep the dream alive, don't let it die
If something deep inside keeps inspiring you to try, don't stop
And never give up, don't ever give up on you
Don't give up
