Remember who you are in Jesus

As women, we often forget who we are and whose we are, when we face challenges that distract us, and attempt to erase the blessed memory of Christ with the Almighty God living inside of us.

There is so much in our culture that demeans womanhood. So many sisters are disheartened, even discouraged, and disillusioned.

But before we had evangelical views, Christian views, traditional and cultural views, etc, we had God’s view.  And a true understanding of Whose and Who you are can ONLY be found in God. Girl, it’s time to give yourself a makeover by using God’s truth (Bible) as your mirror.

Let me remind you WHOSE you are:

You are a daughter of the Never Created God, the Glorious Majesty, the Sovereign King, the Eternal Power, the Great Warrior, the infinitely Wise, Loving, Merciful and AWESOME Father!

Your Creator is “the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is He - Deuteronomy 32:4 ESV.

Remember who you are in Jesus

You Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.  He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.  He gives strength to the weary and increases the power to the weak ~ Isaiah 40:28

There is so much more to Him that is so undefinable but you get the gist of Whose you are.  So, now that you know Who you belong to, let me tell you who you are:

God, in no way views you as being inferior. Hello, you are the most powerful being to walk the earth. God has endowed you with the supernatural ability to create and sustain life. Now that's not child's play. That's POWER!  The life of God was first placed in the womb of a woman before it got to you and to me.

Your worth has consistently proven to be “far above rubies"

Your purpose here on earth is to receive God’s love, conceive God’s love, and carry it forth to others.

You are beautiful because you were wonderfully and fearfully made (Psalm 139:14) in God's image (Genesis 1:27).  You are God’s perfect creation; the virtues that God has laid in your heart say so.

How lovely are you your lips, how lovely when they part in prayer.

You are a daughter of the Most High God, the ONLY God to be exact. You are His property the apple of His eyes.

Psalm 45:9 –15 says the Kings' daughters are among our noble ladies...

Remember who you are in Jesus. Above all else, remember this: You are valued in the eyes of God.
