Reject Rejection

As a woman of God, you need to know that your identity and worth does not come from what you do or from who you know. Your worth and identity comes from who your heavenly Father says you are.

Some of you have experienced painful rejection, some of you have being forsaken by family and friends, people turning their backs on you. It always hurts most when the rejection comes from inside our own camp. The wound really goes down deep. We thought that we were on the same team and yet we are  rejected. But you can reject rejection and not make it personal.

But today and this month, being women’s month, I want to encourage you to focus not on the rejection and the pain but to focus on what God says about you and your situation.
Ps. 27:10 says;
When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me.
Isaiah 62:4 Amp
You [Judah] shall no more be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land be called Desolate any more. But you shall be called Hephzibah [My delight is in her], and your land be called Beulah [married]; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married [owned and protected by the Lord].
Don’t term yourself forsaken anymore and don’t call yourself desolate anymore. God delights in you and you are owned and protected by the Lord. He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13v5).
Isaiah 61v3..To give them beauty for ashes.

This scripture means that God will make something beautiful out of the ashes of your life.
People and family may forget about you but God has not forgotten about you. He knows your name. He knows where you at and He knows how to turn everything around for your good.
Is. 49:14-16
But Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.” Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget,
yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
So learn to trust God. Whatever is under God’s control can never be out of control. God is in control of your past, present and future. You are valuable and precious. God has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29v11).
So learn to accept yourself. Learn to love yourself. God has already accepted you and He has already approved of you. Celebrate your life.
